PRIMER: HD Skin for All Ages (Baby-Elder)

This is a brand new skin, but should suit sims made with Starfruit, as I try to keep my face textures neutral enough to work with a wide variety of features. Everything, from the ears to the fingernails and genitals, has been painted and tweaked to the best of my ability. It's still not perfect, but if I don't share this now, I never will.

I am sharing this in a variety of resolutions so you can pick the quality level appropriate for your game - the non-defaults will not conflict, and the ramps are labeled with the quality level so you can easily compare.

The elder bodies are not included in the default versions. Elders will instead use my adult body textures. This is because by default, EA shares the same body texture for teens through elders. You can only have unique teen/elder body textures with non-default skins.

*4/23/2017* For anyone spotting this download for the first time, I'd like to add that after numerous, numerous attempts at editing the specular to produce greater in-game effects, I haven't been able to produce a worthwhile result. You're free to download this and try it for yourself, but I would keep expectations at a minimum. Currently debating deleting this altogether. This makes a minuscule amount of difference in that it has less glare than EA's smeary default, however, that's about it.

*UPDATED 2/26/16* So, it seems that the face specular can also impact the eye mesh. My original version of this mod may have caused a slight sheen on the iris. Thanks to @buckleysims, I've corrected this issue. Please re-download! I apologize for the inconvenience.

HD Specular Default Replacement (1K Faces & 2K Bodies)

Primer's texture has been mixed with EA's maps and details have been adapted from Buhudain's normal maps. Scalps, faces and bodies are all included to ensure seamless shine. Just like You Are Real, this should enhance the appearance of all skins that do not include custom specular maps. This is intended to complement Buhudain's mod, not replace it. I use this with You Are Real.Ultimately, specular changes are pretty subtle, and the difference is better captured in motion than in a single image. All screenshots were taken with this replacement installed.

Tone Ramps

I've tried to match EA's format of neutral, cool and warm while keeping tones as realistic as possible. The fourth ramp contains rich darker tones, shown above on Dominic and Joelle.

Toenails

Bloom's Sexy Feet and EA Feet are UV mapped differently. I wanted toenails that looked good on SexyFeet, as most skins are designed for EA toe placement. Primer will work with both, but looks best with SexyFeet.

Age Progression

This skin features subtle face and body pore detail that becomes more pronounced with age. Young adults, adults and elders have unique face textures. The adult texture has light age detail - enough to keep it distinct without drastically changing your sim. The elder texture is significantly aged, but for that matter so are the default elder meshes.
